Yoga Mentor for Advanced Students
1-on-1 Online Sessions
Think of me as a ‘personal trainer’ for your practice
In India it is common for serious yogis to commit to working long-term with a guru who would guide and initiate them into the practices (12 years is the traditional time frame). Obviously, Western cultural norms don’t comfortably accommodate such a notion, but it can be very helpful to have access to a teacher who can offer guidance and individual feedback as your journey unfolds.
Modern technology has made that possible even if you’re nowhere near your chosen teacher. You can take advantage of online “yoga coaching” with me via video conferencing.
One of the principles of Yoga Ignition is that you should maintain a personal practice in addition to whatever classes you may be taking in the studio. The question highest on most Yogis’ minds is “What exactly should I practice on my own, and how?”
Our 1-on-1 sessions will help you to answer that question. I can help you evaluate how well your personal practice is working for you and help fine-tune its programming and components.
Because every Yogi’s journey is complex with many “moving parts,” sessions are tailored to your unique needs.
We will discuss any blockages you may encounter or determine when it’s time to level up to something more potent. (I’ll also advise you when to back off, if appropriate.) If there’s an issue I’m not qualified to handle, I’ll let you know that, too.
Having someone with whom to discuss your journey and practice can be huge when it comes to maintaining your motivation and working through energetic shifts — something every serious Yogi encounters.
Sessions are available as an add-on to the Yoga ignition course, or “a la carte.”
Subject to scheduling availability.
